More than 100 California community colleges state-wide offer High Tech Center services for students with disabilities. Core services generally include access software for students with physical disabilities, text magnification software for students with low-vision, screen reading software for students who are blind, access tools for students who are deaf or hard-of-hearing and a variety of reading, writing and basic skills software for students with learning disabilities. Some High Tech Center sites also provide access to cognitive retraining software for students with acquired brain injuries.
